Big Brother Sucks
The Internet keeps getting worse and worse, and this time, the Canadian government is the one taking the initiative to do something stupid with it.
Click here for the story. It's basically policies that the government wishes to enforce onto providers that will raise costs and accomplish next to nothing.
It's a bunch of idiots, with the technical knowledge of the average soccer mom we gets confused trying to the the VCR to play writing these things with some buzzwords.
It's so easy to encrypt communication between a few people, it's a joke that they think this will matter. This will only apply to the average idiot who isn't really someone to be concerned about, anyone doing anything seriously illegal and communicating of the internet would take the five minutes to learn how to encrypt something.
256 bit AES encryption can't really be cracked yet... maybe... once quantum computers are a reality.. yes..... and you can always use 1024 bit DES...
