pick up the places that review TVs (eg. Consumer Reports) and what do you see, Samsung near the top or at THE TOP in most categories.
You may think a Sony looks wicked phat cool on your buddies TV but thats just your opinion.
I could think KIAs were da bomb diggy and best car EVA!!!

From what I hear Sharp Aquos is an excellent product. Supposedly Sharp invented LCD technology and are at the top in terms of visual quality. I have a 50'' Sony Bravia and have no complaints. I also have a 19'' Samsung used solely for my PS3. I've seen Panasonics and they look great too. I suggest either a Sharp, Sony or Panasonic

PLUS samsung is on their 9 series, and anything after 5 series is mint and got like #1 ratings everywhere.

Well I have a porsche and he has a kia, but the Porsche IS better, duh lol

bottom line is for a sony comparable to samsung you are gonna pay more. I've been a Sony TV based family since I was born so its hard to break the habit and to tell the truth I probably wont when it comes to TVs hahaha unless I have no choice like the plasma dept. then I wanna get a Pioneer Kuro while I still can and/or a Panasonic

lol I was Raised on a Zenith Bahemoth when i was a kid .. those things ROCKED ... with the glass that got clipped in with 4 clips on the front ... (till the **** decideds to unclip and ur feet are chopped off lol)
but yea im not really listnin to everyone here i mainly posted it to get a few key ppls ideas (not the ones who seen em in stores or @ thier buddies place) looks like Samsung or Sony ... I lean with sony cause ive had sony's for like 10+ years ...
Lighting is fine .. im on a 14th floor condo .. only get DIRECT sun about 45 mins a day .. so shouldnt be a big deal
