The McSorely thing wasn't as bad compared to this. I consider the mcsorely thing more of a lets fight tap that got a little hard and misplaced.
About the bertuzzi thing, last time they played, I think it was Moore that totally creamed Naslund. Pretty uncalled for. Then bertuzzi kinda went over the line a bit.
Iunno, let the NHL deal with it. Again, something getting blown outta proportion.

worse **** happens everyday in the NHL, I've seen guys hit each somebody else in the back of the head or whatever, this time when Moore was hit it looked as he got knocked out and when he fell he landed akward and that leaded to the injury. Yea, its a bad thing and Moore is ****ed up and all but if he didnt get hurt as seriously as he did would there be a huge stink about it? No!
when guys get injured on a clean hit everybody gets bent outta shape and they call it a cheap shot or whatever. Its a sport where fighting and hitting is a big part of it and this time a cheap shot went bad, is he criminal? not in my eyes. McSorley took a swing like he was cuttin down a tree with a hockey stick, Bertuzzi used his fist, whats worse? its just the injury from the outcome.
Cheap as the shot might have been its nothin new in the NHL or major league sports for that matter. If moore got up and socked him back where would we be now?
I dont think this should leave the jurisdiction of the NHL as its a hockey matter, its not assault like randomly punching a dude on the street...Bertuzzi feels like crap about it no doubt and he's gonna pay both monetarily and emotionally. I wish the best to Moore and his family but it is what it is, a cheap shot gone bad nothin else

yeah fighting is part of the game, but suckering someone and busting their neck and jaw isn't, i hope he doesn't play again this year, and he should get charged, mcsorely did, so should bertuzzi, makes the game look bad

well from speculation of what ive heard, i just want 'tuzzi to come back like mcsorely did....
did anyone see the 5 nhl games mcsorely played in after his return? he left to the minors immediately after those games...
every time he would step on the ice, he got DRILLED immedeately, or just cold cocked to the head from behind, the opposition had no mercy for him, and the refs didnt call anything..
and when he went to the minors for like a month b4 his retirement, he got the freakin crap kicked out of him there too...
soooo.... i wish the same on todd.... probably could be the demise of his career
