PALO ALTO, Calif. ( Court TV) — A recent high school graduate and soccer player has been accused of raping a 94-year-old woman in a senior citizens home earlier this year.
Jorge Eduardo Hernandez, 18, was arrested July 18 on rape, sodomy and burglary charges. He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
Hernandez was arrested after police traced a ring found at the crime scene to Hernandez's older brother, who told police it had been missing for about a year. Police then searched the men's home and found evidence that pointed to the younger Hernandez.
On July 16, police took blood and other samples from Hernandez for DNA testing. Authorities said that Hernandez made some admissions during an interview that led to his arrest.
Hernandez, who moved with his family to California from Guatemala in 1995, was working as a men's clothing salesman at the time of his arrest. He was playing soccer for local club teams and had traveled across the country, returning from a trip just days before his arrest. Hernandez planned on attending a two-year college in the fall and later transferring to a larger school with a strong soccer program.
If convicted, Hernandez faces a possible life sentence.

You see what I mean now when I say the media turns stuff around? Ie... he also worked as a clothing salesman, but the title of the article say soccer player.....that just because the world cup just happened......It's just to get to public to read the article.....
Either way, the guy should fry.
