appraise value

anyone know anyone that can help me get a appraise value of my car????i dont want to get rape by the MTO while i register the car

you either pay tax on the cost fo the car as stated ont eh bill of sale or the cost of the car as stated as the retail value on the user vehicle information package, whichever is higher

you can't get an appriased value to lower the price of the car.

Exactly, and if anything an appraisel would likely increase the value of the car causing you to pay more taxes, assuming it worked that way.

That's actually not true.. the first car I bought was an Altima... the Bluebook Value was like $4500 at the time, but since the car had been in a previous accident it was re-apraised before any repairs were done to it at $1200. I payed Taxes at $1200 and just had to show the appraisal to the MTO. I am sure if you knew someone in that does them you could get it lowered. Otherwise, I can't see a person lowering the value of your car just to help you out.

yup its true...hes right, an appraisal can lower the taxes you pay if your appraisal is obviously lower than Wholesale price. So get one and you'll save ssome money at the MTO

then when u get it insured its only gonna be worth the appraised value...so if it gets wrecked or stolen ur only gonna get back whatever your appraised value is
