Anyone into tattooing?

I have one on my left shoulder from like 4 years ago. There is a part around the croatian coat of arms that I do not like and didn't like since the day I got it. It is light green in color and I was wondering if it's possible to get a darker color put over it and change the design?

I'm assuming darker colors show through always so this should be possible, yes?

you can always go darker...when u get ink covered it has to be darker then what u have there or it will show through...your best bet for coverup work is to go into your artists parlor and ask what can be done to cover up the previous work with whatever new work you have chosen

but yes luka u can get that green darker

you can also remove the tattoo completely.

1. sand flesh till it's sore
2. let it heal
3. repeat for about a year

well yes you can cover a black tattoo with colour but the colour has to be pretty deep and dark...many places will tell you to get it faded with tattoo removal cream or laser first if its too dark and u want it covered with a brighter lighter colour tattoo

I heard that a scarred tattoo cannot be covered because the skin is scarred. Basically I have a old faded black tattoo more of a blue now and I want to cover that with fresh black ink.
