Anyone here attend or know anything about Conestoga College?

I've recently been looking to attend a good college to do Business Administration, but I want to move away from Brampton. I would like to stay in Ontario because I don't want to move far away from home, so I was checking out this school.
It's located in Kitchener, and apparently it's rated the #1 community college for the 5th consecutive year (don't they all say that?).
I was wondering if anyone goes there or has heard of any good/bad things about it.
Any info is appreciated because I have to apply within the next month to college.
Thanks!

If you are taking business, at the very least go to WLU (Wilfred Laurier) - there is a reason why he's on the $5 bill

Business is one of the easiest things to take at school, and I took a class at WLU once - it was a joke. My buddy and I showed up once a month plus for the scheduled exams and we walked out with 90s. Somehow they have a good reputation though.

I'm at Conestoga right now.I'm in the marketing program in 3rd year. (1 more semester to go!)
This year at the marketing competition Conestoga placed 2nd overall. So I think that says something about the program. The past 3-4 years they've placed in the top 3 for the competition.

I know they now have a university degree with Windsor (for accounting) and apparently their is a linkage for marketing with Guelph... (still lookin up more info for that...)

Anyways I'm not sure if you want to go in to the general biz program or get into something more specific, but IF after 1st year you want to take say accounting, you transfer into 2nd year.

But I have to agree that WLU does have a good biz program, I plan to go there in the fall and take Comm. Studies.
Won't let me into biz cause I'll have a diploma, WTF?!

If ya want more info and more specific questions, PM me. But ya do learn more in 3 years then ya do in 2 years and after going to some job fairs more employers want ATLEAST 3 years in a program, won't even consider people with 2yrs in a program.

Hope it helped.
Good Luck

Well...I don't plan on doing a full program through college.
My high school marks were crap (60's & 70's) because I goofed off too much, and I realized that I wouldn't be able to get into any reputable Uni. So the one year at college is to boost my marks that Uni's will be looking at, and also have a learning experience of moving in with my lifelong g/f.
We have narrowed it down to doing BA - Marketing or BA - Management Studies, and we saw that Conestoga had a reputation for both of these programs. Again, we wanted to go somewhere that isn't too far from home (Brampton), but far enough that we would have an excuse for getting a place by the school.
Any other good colleges for Business in Ontario that fit the above criteria?
