Anyone grt this email?
Whos on the rogers network?
I keep getting an email from admin@rogers.com
and in the email it mentions my email address is expiring soon and that I should read the attached message provided with the email but the attached is an .EXE file.
I never opened one of them and sent an alert to rogers asking if this was really part of their procedure to send out these emails but I havnt got any response back.
Im suspecting its a virus but I dont want to risk opening it.

Never got that email. Do you use your rogers email address? If you do, and it says its expiring, why not call customer service? 416 290 6400, and tell them there sending you a certain .exe file. Im sure they can take care of it for you. Just my $.02

heres why, if rogers wanted you to read something they will NEVER put it in an attachment. Simply because of this....
they even tell us not to open documents we dont know so why would they send us document that we wouldnt know about ......

I remember getting one of those awhile back.
I also remember Rogers sending out a bulletin saying that this was in fact a virus attempt. If it was actually from Rogers, they would probably give you a link to their members website with more info on there.
Doesn't your anti-virus program catch it? I'm using Norton, and I keep getting these emails from Microsoft (yeah right!), asking me to install this patch now. But Norton catches it and deletes it for me .
