Any City Dumps around toronto?????

hoping someone can give me some ifo here,
i'm cleaning out my parents unit, its full of old building materials, mostly wood (2x4's, old doors, desks). i have no cash now for a Garbage bin, so i am wondering if there is like a city dump where i can haul the stuff little by little in my suv, and if there is, does it cost anything? there is a lot of stuff so it will take me a while, but if there is a place i can dump it, its the only option i have now.

thanks in advance

Theres a bunch of dumps around.

They charge by the ton.

Your best off saving for a bin, its going to be cheaper and easyer in the end.

A lot of the facilities are pretty organized, and its not that expensive...and it gets recycled properly...if its wood, you probably shouldn't just dump...

The only one I know of is in Oshawa, which might be kind of car, I'm sure there is a government website somewhere for it

thats what i was affraid of, someone told me that there is a place you can dump for free, but i knew it was too good to be true. i cant save up for a bin, cause i need to clear this thing out asap, i actually concidered burning it all in like a barrel, but its a commercial area and someone will report me.

If its all burnable wood, maybe you can find someone with a cabin or something up north who will take it..

yeah the dump is definately not free. My friend goes to one all the time and the price depends on the load and their mood. if its not THAT much you can buy these bags at home depot for like $40. there is a small and a large. I can't remember the exact size but its like 4 x4 feet or something like that. you fill it up and they come get it. the pick up fee is included in the cost of the bag.
