any brick layers in the house?

Is there any reasont to leave mortar joints unfilled?

yes...

every couple bricks they leave it unfilled so the house can breathe.

Without doing this, you will actually see bricks burst due to pressure not being released.

idiot that owned my house in st. kitts filled them in the garage.

Year after I had brick pieces all on the ground.

Yup...its to let moisture out. If it gets in the bricks and freezes they flake apart.

yea they're only vertical

im helping my GF prepare for her PDI tomorrow

we went into her garage and noticed that some idiot left a good 5 or 6 footprints in the concrete floor

I wanna see their faces when I tell them to re-pour it all.

guy mikes in to fanco the concrete guy, he runs over, grinders it all down where the marks are, repours a little patch to cover up.

he calls you back

"hey yooo Luka, guess what my friend, we have re-poured everything for yah!"

this is right after he just told the workers to cut back on material for a week so they started to screw in all ceiling fans into drywall without anchoring them into studs.

That's why I plan on taking pictures of everything we report, making sure our lists match or else I don't sign, and will bitch for the rest of my life if they do that.

They can't just pour a layer of concrete on top because it will just break apart.

they have different material.


Do you think that when a person has a foundation crack near the garage and have to cut into the garage that they repour the whole garage? common now....
