Another Genius on the Road....78 year old man speeding
It wasn't just young drivers caught racing over the holiday weekend.
A 79-year-old London man showed Oxford OPP Sunday he could still hit the gas.
The man was doing 148 km/h along an 80 km/h highway when he tried to pass a transport truck almost hitting a OPP cruiser head-on in the oncoming lane, police said.
Both the transport truck and the cruiser veered onto the shoulders to avoid the car going 68 km/h over the speed limit. The officer turned around and caught up with the driver.
Police charged the man with racing and passing on a roadway not clear of approaching traffic.
His vehicle was seized and his licence suspended for seven days. The man's name was not released.

60 old man (50) over street racing
18 old male (yellow tiburon) (50) over street racing
is it me or 90% of these people are speeders not street racers.lol
