Ummm, depends on what kind of pants you're wearing. Nice dress pants for a professional job SHOULD be ironed. Jeans should NOT be ironed. Clubbing pants... well, that's up to you - if you're all wrinkly, will the ladies notice? Special occasions require ironed pants

I iron all dress pants/shirts, unless they come out really nice right out of the dryer...jeans not really, unless they look wrinkly...it just depends on how lazy your are I think and how much you care about how u look.

Here's a tip:
Keep in mind that when ironing dress pants, you need to be careful about getting "the shine"...along the seams, pockets, etc.
If they're chino-type pants, no problem. However, if they are part of a suit or good dress pants, you're better off sending them to the dry cleaners to get them pressed professionally--not only is it better for the garment, but the pressing lasts a lot longer.
As for jeans, 15 minutes on low in the dryer will take out the creases, then hang them to dry. Saves on electricity, and usually that little bit of heat from the dryer takes out most of the wrinkles.

I think along as you fold your clothes correctly right after the dryer is finished you really don't need to iron.
Now for dress clothes, etc 99% of the time I just send them into the dry cleaners. I rather spend a few $$ than mess them up myself.

I only iron my gitch, don't want the ladies to think I'm unrefined!
