OK THIS s.h.i.t has got to be the best thing on televsion since Voltron.

The TV anime is very simliar in design style and darkness as Spawn The Animated Series, but based on the graphic novel by Takashi Okazaki. Afro Samurai is a story that mixes ancient Japan with a futuristic world. Everyone carries a cellphone, and characters range from cyborgs to robotics to everyday people.

In the world of Afro Samurai, it is said that the one who becomes "Number One", will rule the world, wielding powers akin to a god. Someone becomes Number One by killing the previous Number One and taking his ceremonial headband. However, the only rule in this world is that only the "Number Two" (also designated by a sacred headband) is allowed to fight the "Number One."

Afro (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson), is a lone samurai looking for revenge for the wrongful death of his father. During his travels, he encounters a variety of friends and enemies along the way, growing ever closer to the one he seeks: the man that won't die.

This is just a quick tip onthe show, but if your guys arent watching you missing out bigtime.

I saw I think the second episode, maybe the third one on Thursday that just passed. I liked it, but I wish I saw it from the first episode on. I will be watching more!

watched the first 2 eps so far ... show is Tufffff ... i like how they go back n forth to show his kid years parallel to his older years..
