30 000 K and still running strong

k we bought this car for the GF but the auto tranny shortly after we bought it we realized it was screwed its a 94 auto tranny in an 88 ef with a pm5 there is only one lock-up solenoid connected as since its a different obd class than the car there is no where to hook up the other lock-up solenoid so it rattles free ha ha needless to say the car is undriveable when you try to start off in drive it slips it shudders it shakes so for the last 30 000 kms i have been driven er like she is standard starting in second shifting to third then drive it seems to be taking it rather well seeing as how 50 percent of the time i shift at 6000 rpm !!!!! jam it into next gear and off i go!!!!! im in pure disbelief that this tranny is holding up after such abuse!!!! my moms sunfire gets check engine light and stinks funny if you push it over 4000 rpm and shift the auto manually!!!! anyway HOOOORRRAAAAYYYY for the hondamatic!!!!!!!!!

p.s. since it's gf's car i been hoping the tranny would go then its time for auto to manual swap!!!!!!!!

no there is one wire coming from the solenoid and i take it the rest is ground because i put + power to the wire and it went tick tick ya know so the only wire coming out is positive makes sense right well i have a obd0 ecu with an obd1 tranny on the obd0 there is a pinout for one tranny solenoid and on the obd1 ecu there is 2 pinouts one for 2 and third i believe
