ouch.. it's good to hear that you are ok.... sorry about the car and tough luck on the insurance but i could have been worse, you could have been crippled or dead... the insurance problem is the best break over your life. inother words i would rather pay higher insurance for a while instead of being in a wheelchair the rest of my life..... kinda puts thing in perspective...... hope you make a full recovery.... and if you find the other guy then i hope you

Zack, I was just talkiing to my client which is also my insurance broker, and she said that since the car took off and you have no plate # or anything then you are the one at fault in the books.

She said that it is very unfortunate but thats the way the law works.

She also gave me a tip to tell you all, and that is if you are ever in the same sort of situation or if you are in a situation where you have a choice of hitting the car that is at fault or a pole, she said hit a pole.

I asked her for some advice for you but she sais that there is nothing you can do about this.

Sorry Zack, I guess **** just happens.

get well soon its unfortunate that people are as careless about their driving as they are about someone elses life.
I really hope that any witnesses step up, because this kinda **** just shouldn't happen.

Hope you get better soon

just came from the police station...

the officer didn't charge me with reckless or dangerous driving..it seems they came to their senses....they said the skid marks left were approx 43 meters in length and that it showed i had swerved to avoid something
