worst day of my life

Hi all,

Bad news...after taking the civic out of winter storage...i got into a really bad accident

total write off...spent the last several hours in the emergency room. Im pretty messed up...

a car had gone over the center deviding line by about 3 feet and i swerved to avoid...after i hit the first 2 trees it was a pretty much blur after that ..i woke up in a wall and had to crawl out the passanger side...

hopefully nobody will have to experience what i went through yesterday...

Holy cow boss, hope you get better soon.

My co-worker had a similar accident, abiet not as serious outcome. Some jerk wasn't watching and crossed the center line, me co-worker swerved to aviod him and crashed into mailbox.

The jerk takes off. Stuff like this really really ticks me off, if something like this ever happens to me, I'm not going to swerve to totally aviod him, I'm just going to move over a bit to aviod serious injury to myself and make sure I get a piece of him, so he can't get away.

I've seen/heard of too may accidents caused by bad drivers where someone has to avoid them, then the person who has to avoid get into and accident and the bad driver gets away and you end up paying for insurance and crap.!!!

Holy ****... They better find that bastard that ran!!

Dude! I'm surprised you're still alive!!! Thank god you were in a Civic, safest car in it's class.

Honestly man... it's better that you're alive and the sheet metal around you saved you... than dead or in a coma man!

OH MY GOD Zack!!

Thank your lucky stars you are alive.

Cars come and go so dont worry about that. Just make sure you take good care of yourself and get well.

What kind of surgery are they going to be doing?

I'm so shocked,,, i feel for you man.

left the hospital because i was able to walk after the a couple of hours and my headache started to subside along with the swellin in my head...

as for what is going on...

Insurance is 100% charging me for the entire wreck since only one car was in the accident...

i have to go to the police station tonight sometime after all is said and done to get my statement out to the officers...
