Worst and Best road in T.O?

Ok...so last summer...I had to go up Bathurst, late at night..to do some errands....my god... my poor baby WITH BRAN NEW RIMS took a beating on that road. From Lakeshore, up past Dundas, and kept going....being night..it was hard to avoid them all. Has to be..in my opinion..the worst road in T.O

Best road...by far.... LAKESHORE..(the part used for INDY 500).

For all the people, that will blame our crappy roads on the salt, winter..etc.... take a drive by LAKESHORE.... in front of the CNE.

The best road in t.o...ultra smooth..NEVER any potholes...(and i know...it is re-done once every few years)..but it they do an AMAZING job at surfacing that road...AND IT LASTS....meanwhile...I see them re-surfacing other roads in the city every year...and their horrible. Even during rush hour, lakeshore gets a beating..but it withstands it all...because it's built right from the beginning. To bad cops are there 24/7

If all roads in T.O..were built with the same standards that Lakeshore (that specific part) are built...road repair workers would be out of a job.

i know what you mean man... there are a view residental streets by my house that are horrible. Not like im gonna be flying down them but still going 40 i feel like im pulling some crazy off road mission. Im all jumping around in my car. A week ago i actualy saw a huge 1foot by 1foot pot hole on this one road by my house and the chunk of road was right next to it. Looked like someone actualy went and started pulling out a chunk of the road.

Soon as i get my rims i already have a few streets i know im gonna be avoiding.

Royal Windsor Rd, here in Mississauga (borders Oakville), ****test road I have ever driven on. Old car was scraping and sparking all over the bloody place.
427 is pretty **** too.

The fixed royal windsor, parts of the QEW and 427 are still pretty bad though.

Andy and I drove down Royal Windsor Rd. last Friday in the Heep man, it's far from good. Your not dropped (or have off road suspension like the Heep) remember.

Parts of the 401 going to Scarb are pretty crap too.

If all roads in T.O. were built to the same standards that Lakeshore are built, your taxes would go sky-high!

And you want to see bad roads? Come to London. The only good roads are when you LEAVE the city.

BEST ROAD: Avenue Rd. from Lawerence to St. Clair. Why? It just got repaved from Lawerence to Eglinton and it has some nice little turns that are fun to take at around 50 or 60.

WORST ROAD: Definitely Bathurst...OMG that thing is like a minefield! The mile long dirt road into my cottage has less obstacles...sheesh!

To be honest, though, I feel just about every crack in any road and that's with my steelies on for the winter. So basically, unless it's fresh pavement, it can get annoying. I don't even like running over your average sewer.

most roads are just paved on top of compacted sand. which helps increase the pot hole issue.

and the city just re-paves instead of closing the street down to all traffic removing the whole road and putting down concrete as the base.

Lakeshore of course is great it gets repaved with race track grade pavement in that section thats part of the molsen indy.

They should start resurfacing at the bottom of the city (Toronto)and making their way up North. Start with the really bad roads .

Dufferin St from st. clair to Wilson ave needs resurfacing ! Its bad.
Steeles from Bathurst to Hilda is bad.
Bathurst from Eglinton to Lawrence is bad !

those are the only ones I can think of in my area.
