so with winter comming, so does the snow, salt, and sand....as for washing the car what do you find better to do.... now would you still go to the coin-op for a do it your self... or how about ones at the gas station....2 types...drive through...or the one the you park in and the machine goes around you...and how offen would you wash your car

coin-op ... depending on how cold it is... if the water doesn't freeze too quick when you're in the bay then .. otherwise not at all.. I've heard too many horror stories with gas station drive thru car wash's

I go back to work and use the heated shop with hot and cold water, its mint and only a few minutes from home. Although occasionally i use the coin op if the build up of snow under the car is big enough, then i blast it off with the high pressure

all I do in winter is go to a coin-op, put in the $3, and just rinse the car off, giving special attention to places where salt builds up.
theres no point in washing your car so its spotless in winter, its going to be covered again in 2 days
