More power and by your defintion, usually means more money, which also defeats your point on not to spend money on a car cause they don't appreciate.

I see no sense in being diff and spending $25 on a car you don't have to mod, when its still a waste of money because it doesn't appreciate. VS spending $15 on a civic and modding it when its still not going to appreciate as well.

Its just a personal choice.
