Hey guys I just found out that at F1 Toronto, to be upgraded from junior karts to senior karts you gotta take some bull**** 20min test and pay $30 and does not include any racing time! so once again (and this time final) were going to have it at Formula Kartways in Brampton (Steeles/410)
THURSDAY, MARCH 2 @ 8pm.

thats only if u don't have a g1 or are 18
i have been there before... its not a matter of the tires being grippy, but its more the floors being slick... its all the finish, like an unfinished basement floor... its smooth in some places and thats where the slide is... but whos complaing about a little oversteer?
you know pro-kart doesn't have seatbelts in their senior carts? just these bucket seats that suck u right in... thats what makes them fast because they are really light.

Been there. The track is really short, at best you barely get upto ALMOST full speed. The ground is slippery (think costco warehouse flooring) and its really tecnical course. After 10 minutes, my arms hurt like a bitch, probably a good work out, but you have to be good at carting to enjoy passing people.
On a sidenote, past summer I was in Spain, where there were go carts. The slowest of the 3 carts maxed out at 60km/h. - 270cc the 290cc maxed out at 80km/h, and the 390cc (all honda engines) maxed out at 120km/h. I tried the 290cc and I was scared (I'm not kidding) to go to a 120km/h. at 80km/h entering a corner gets hairy with those tires. Now, I'm not a ***** driver, but man those 390s were fast .... to drive them, you needed to suit up in a firesuit, and these guys were nuts, .... drifting through a corner at 100km/h. I saw one spin out where the guy's head almost fell off from whiplash. Some violent stuff.
Anyways, you should really get a closer look at the carts @ north queen and east mall before you comitt.

not Grippy at Formula Kartways? I was there on Saturday and found the grip to be great did 50 laps total 30 in the forward direction and 20 in the reverse course direction.. I actually won the reverse course race I was in.. there was plenty of grip..although going in the reverse direction there was really high speeds entering hair pin corners and that caused the back end to step out but if you did it right you got around the corner quicker
