what to do to my civic 08 coupe (LX)?

summer's here and I am looking to do some addon to the car... nothing crazy though. Nothing to engine.. I am all about the looks.

maybe a body kit... would it look good if I just add the HFP rear spoiler? Or front + rear spoiler? Or does it only look good as a whole full HFP kit?

I already have prolumen 6k hid lights installed. Missing fog lights.

Currently have stock 16" alloy. What do you recommend for rims? I am guessing 17" would be best suited.

So yeah, what else?

And where do you recommend buying the above? Anything in the GTA aside from dealership?

ps. Im driving a silver civic.

don't go with a "body kit".....

get the FULL hfp kit.

HFP kits add value to your car. aftermarket body kits, do not.

plus, you'll never match the quality of OEM fitment....

hfp took my ep3 from:

to:

the 2 doors look great with HFP, and it's not too over done.

other than that, maybe a good 1.5" drop.... as for rim sizes? some 17s look retarded, some 16s look too small...each rim is different (17s where the spokes go all the way out, look bigger than 17s where the spoke doesnt go all the way to the outer edge of the rim...hard to explane)

keep it simple...

You're right...full HFP kit is the way to go. I went to the dealership for a quote today. The silver kit costs $1869+tax because it's more common and if you get the burgundy color, it will be about $7xx+tax and painting job will costs around $4-500 (is this right?). I didn't think the paint job would only cost that little, if so, I'll be going with the burgundy and have it painted/installed at a body shop.

What do you think? Which rim/tire set best for this car?

that is pretty cheap 800 bucks for a burgundy full set, painting shouldnt cost more than 400 dollars since the kit is new all they gotta do its sand off the clearcoat lightly prime , paint and reclear, they wont need any of that plastic adhering paints and stuff since its already in place.

Too bad the op has an 8th gen coupe, no body kit available is going to make it look like an ep3.

Get the Hfp kit, and the Hfp suspension from College Hills. Tint, new rims. *do something different and not like everyone else* AMber sidemarkers... hmmm..

HFP kit is a must. Tint was done as soon as I drove out of the dealership. Rims I am contemplating on either 17 ADVANTI M85 Time Attack or 17 ADVANTI M39 MF package from Advanti 17" Wheel Sale - 2009 - SimplyTire - TorontoMazda3

amber side markers... hmm this might be possible but it's going to be permanent.. so I really gotta think about this one.

I am not looking to lower so the HFP suspension is out of the question. Don't really feel like getting stuck in the snow when winter's back.

What kind of fog lights are recommended for what I drive? yellow or clear?

OMG> You won't get stuck in the snow when winter hits. I'm dropped on H-techs and I didn't get stuck once, nor was I a plow. The HFP kit drops about 1" (i'm 1.5-2.5 depending on what I am carrying) HFP kit gives you a better ride than your stock shocks and springs, better comfort, you'll get a rougher ride with larger wheels, the hfp kit will totally enhance the experience. (and they are onsale for $450usd)

Fogs, it's up to the individual. You like yellow, get yellow, you like clear, get clear. You want smoked glass, etc. It's your ride, we can't tell you what to do.

Sidemarkers are easy to install, cut your fender and pop em in. Done.

If you're leasing your car, then dont' do anything to it, you'll end up having to return it all to stock and sell everything at a loss.

Most local Honda dealers are offering greatly reduced prices on their parts. I know a guy that got the HFP bodykit for $400. Call up the dealers and ask for pricing.

Also, collegehillshonda in Ohio sells Honda accessories for dirt cheap compared to the Canadian dealers.
