if you plan on building this car to go fast then don't get an si. But if you just want to enjoy an EJ1 then i say keep on looking. I scored my 95 civic ex coupe while i lived in the states, but mine doesn't have ABS.
If i knew i was going to put this much money into a car to make it fast i would have bought a vx/cx hatch.
I think its funny how a top of the line model for its generation didn't even come with factory alloy wheels.

Mine also has factory tweeters, well used to until they were replaced with better ones.
Try to find one with an armrest.
Good choice on the car either way.

Sure they can, have all the power options plus the GSR leather seats...what makes it less luxurious then a Lexus/Toyota?

92-95 Civics in canada never came with ABS, Power Windows or Power Locks. To my knowledge only the SI HATCHBACK has 4 wheel disc. The SI Coupe is still drums in the rear.

I may be mistaken about the drums/disc part, I've had like 10 hatches and sedans in the last 2 years, but never a coupe.

ABS was only made available after 1996 in the Civics.

If you want luxury you have to buy either a newer civic, integra or prelude.

Do you even have your G2 yet?

the reason was of the cost.
civics started to compete with the integra's something that they didnt want to happen. people started to either buy civics or integra's over the other because of the price and option. kinda like what the problem is with the new ep3 hatches and the new rsx's.

that is also the reason why our civics never came with power options because of cost cutting measures.

Isn't it? I always thought that it was. I know that that's the case with the 6th gen and up, but I figured that it was for the 5th gen as well.

Just because the SI coupe is supposed to be the EX coupe found in the States, doesn't mean they have the same features.

Sorry but your sherlock holmes deduction theories don't apply to cars.

The damn hatchs don't even come with 4 speakers in Canada.
