No one is forcing you to come. You don't like it, there are tons of other places you can go and hang out on a Wednesday night.

Better yet, why not form your own club, start a website, and make your own meets out in the west end?

Problem solved.

Agreed, but when you get online and complain that the meet is too far, should move it, etc, that's where it gets stupid.

We all can make choices people. You don't like where the meets are, then ya don't have to come.

Same whining every week........

Hence why it's called the TORONTO civics club. If we have people coming from all corners of the city like Oakville, Oshawa, Richmond Hill, and Brampton and they haven't complained yet, what makes you think that your voice would be heard??? We've been holding meets in this area since the genesis of the club...I don't see it changing at all. If you don't like it, you don't have to be here...No one's forcing you to be here. There are plenty of other clubs nowadays...I'm sure you'd be able to find one you'd like. Good luck

Cheers,
Buddah.

You know what really irks me is that Cantonagod and I make the 40 minute drive every week to the meet (not including back), has been like that for 4 years now. We do this every week so we can be there for the newbies, and memberships, cards and stickers, ect. Yet people complain about the 40 minute drive they have (excluding those from St. Kitts's/Hamilton) from the West, and expect me to drive a 120 minutes to a meet instead.

Now that I think about it, maybe the meets too far for me on Wednesday's.

I drive a good 35 minute each week to these meets. TCC is a great club, and the people rock. That is what makes it worth it.

On that note, Im gonna be a bit late this week, wont be showing up until after 9.

The best part is his last comment of it being "ghey". If its so "ghey" why do you bother coming back? Why do any of the complainer's that think the meets are too far, or they don't like the way the board is run, or they feel they have certain rights come back? You would think, if you don't like what you see, go somewhere else...................

On that note, I will either be late or not there at all...........

Come on guys, cut the guy some slacks. I guess it was a simple rant, just let it slide.

Now I work at East end again, I will attend the meet more often.
