Wednesday Nov. 27

Effective immediately we are no longer allowed to meet in the underground parking at Commerce Gate. The property Manager called me to tell me.
Please start throwing out suggestions and someone pass this info on to ClubSi.

Nope. Apparently the group was just getting too big and some store owners voiced some concerns.

Could we approach a dealer? Maybe we could stand around in their service reception area - might be good for their business too - both from business from us and or increased exposure of nice cars to potential customers. the downside is that they may not want to keep the place open after 9.

also the MG Car Club meets at a place called Edwards Gardens ( leslie and lawrence) where they rent a meeting room.

and the Porsche club meets at the Port Credit Yacht Club where they also rent a meeting room.

i know we may not want to pay to rent a room - just trying to brainstorm.

btw the perfect place would be at square one under the bubble tea place - clean and bightly lit but we might have the same prob with management

uh oh! The week I wanna go to the meet.. we can't go there anymore!!!!
Noooooo!

Here's a few suggestions..

1. Yorkdale
2. Sheridan Mall
3. Sherway Gardens
4. Crossroads Center (401 & Weston Road.. Tim Hortons there and big parking lot cuz Staples is closed at night.. lol) (and LCBO for all you booze monkeys)
5. Scarbrough Town Center.

We should try and choose a place more in the middle? We have people from all over the place.

ya, right... you were gonna go. Why even bother suggesting locations? you'll never show up anyways.

hey jeff, i told jon that we could go back to one of timmies parking spot and park our cars, but we will just have to go inside timmies instead of being outside bec it's too cold...just an idea.

A central location should be derived from the members who show up on a regular basis to the Wednesday meets. Of course, we'll need to find another underground lot. I doubt anyone's gonna want to stand around outside in the open air.

How about Yorkdale?

It is kinda central to all coming from the east and the west side.
