It really isn't that big a deal. It was one of those *ah crap* moments that everybody goes through at one point or another. Just in this case, Thrill's brain fart happened with all his peers watching... it was really quite funny to be honest. Probably because I was sitting back watching and not involved.

We all have things like this happen from time to time. Let's not make a big deal about it. Thrill will talk about it when he is ready too. In the mean time I'm sure he can use as much insurence advice he can get about different places to get lower insurence, how it goes up, how to avoid it from going up etc. We should probably get a seperate thread going just for this. I'll leave it up to Thrill to start however as this is his issue to deal with.

Blair, It could have happened to any one of us, it is what it is, an accident. The difference is, it happened for all of us to see and that could be why you feel that way. Like Steve said, give yourself some time and think things through. Don't be to hasty on your decisions. You are still a member of this club and that has not changed.

As for what happened, I don't think there is any need to go into details, what Blair has described is enough. If he chooses to give more info, that it up to him, I don't think anyone else needs to elaborate.

Hopefully it wont come to that but I suppose thats life. Anyway I just wanted to thank you guys for you support tonight, especially Buddah and Lordm. I feel like I have shamed the whole club and especially myself at this point so hopefully you guys wont look down upon me to much.
Hey bud. No worries dude. That's what we are here for. Things like this happen. Mistakes are made. That's life. As much as it may suck right now, it gets better...trust me. The key is to learn from your mistakes. There is always a way out. Just relax for now like Sabre says. Take a day to free your mind then come back and tackle the situation with a clear mind. You might just be able to see a way out that doesn't involve selling your car. And If you need some help thinking things through, you know where to find me.

Cheers,
Buddah.

Blair, if you need anyhelp from me in regarding to parts or labour I will be there to help out.

Like everyone is saying take some time to think it through, talk to your parents about what happened. They probably have had an accident in one point of their life so they can guide you. Everything will work out, no worries. Thats why they call it an "accident " after all. It was a mistake. Learn from it. It will make you a better person in the long run.

I was thinking the same way when I had my accident with my SiR. I thought I was gonna have to sell it immediately cuz of insurance. I talked to alot of people about it and figured out a way to keep it for another year then I sold it to my sister to get my bike. :P
