Water In Gas BAD!!!

Ok here goes my story!!

I drive a 2002 sir with 44,000k on it.

I was filling up with gas at Sunoco Ultra 94 so i fill up and start her up and away i go. About 2 Km's down the road my car started to sputter then stalls, try to to restart, nothing so there i am sitting in the middle of the road in Milton ( Martin St. if anyone knows) so i push it to the side of a 2 lane road of course at 4 in the afternoon so it is busy! I am like wtf, so i call CAA, and now i have to get a tow to Georgetown Honda, cause Milton doesn't have one! so now the tow truck comes and it is a flat bed, and i am like yes, cause my car is lowered 2", anyways the guy is a ***, and almost yells at me for lowering it, and so he get it up there and SCRAAAAAAPPPPP the front bumper hits the bed, and drags up the ramp! and then again down when we get to Honda. so now it is Fri afternoon, and they are just about to close so i have no car all weekend yaaa. anyways has it stands right now i have 90% WATER in my tank, and they have to drop the tank and drain it and clean it and some other ****, and put it all back together, and they quoted me 1500, **** that! and we called sunoco, and they said it should only cost me 390 MAX!...screw them i am getting it all, i am soo pissed right now!...ahhhh anyways hope that all made sense, if not to bad, i am still pissed!!

Dan

No more Sunoco for me EVER!!!...

they weren't maintaining there tanks, and you werent' either but still you clearly pumped raw water into your tank...but I bet alot of alcohol at the bottom with the water from the ultra 94 B.S.

when you are usign alcohol enrished fuel you shodul keep your tank above 1/2 atleast to stop condensation from gathering...try nto to leave it over night alot with low fuel in it....but ya someone shoudl pay and nto you

it "leaks" in by the fuel expanding and contracting bringing in atmospher and with it H20 so clearly they have tank problems and shoudl be notified

sue th ***** for the fix and for the inconviniience.. all you have to do is prove that all the water came from their pump..

i would of went back with a jerry can for samples. and asked them to to a varco fuel test, and a density check, with the results signed by the tester. To late now, i bet they closed the pumps.

i called Sunoco tonight and got a guy saying they will cover all the work on the car as long as it isn't over 390, anything else isn't neccesary??..lol..i was like ah ok, i took it to honda cause it was a new car, and i didn't want some shaddy mechanic to do it! i never asked them about a new tank, the major cost is the fuel pump and fuel filter, apparently they are 1 unit, so that is the big exspence. that and labour!... oh well i will keep you all posted!! Anyone a lawyer??...teehee
