Exclamation WARNING for hwy car pool parking lots

Hey guys,

as some of you know, I do some work that has to do with insurance companies, ppl making claims and rentals (no I cannot hook you up).

Anyway,

This past Thursday I was called to an on-scene location at the Mississauga Rd and 401 location. Right off Mississauga Rd there is a little carpool parking lot for ppl who carpool over the 401 or whatever.

As you probably know where this story is going

A poor pregnant woman driving a Honda CRV arrived to her car only to find out that her airbags were missing. Cops were called n all that. Both airbags were gone.

Just a warning ...don't trust hwy carpool parking lots and also GO station lots.

Just a reminder/Warning

Have fun

GG is right...I never knew how safe those car pool lots are b/c I never used them ever. I thought they were safe during the day b/c ppl come and go from those lots all the time and it's usually during the day that ppl use them. Mind you, I'd never use them.

Society has no morals anymore, don't trust anyone. You are actually taking a risk anywhere you park the car if you think about it...

I refuse to leave my car's at those places. Not so much that I'm worried about the car getting stolen, but damaged from some careless asshat.

ya, my car got hit in a parking lot of that kind... it was in ottawa, the one off March Rd. in Kanata for the bus going into downtown Ottawa (#63 if I remember right). got back one day around 11PM and my front end was mashed cops didn't give a ****, I ended up making a $2800 claim on my insurance. (cracked headlight, cracked bumper, bent stay and stiffner, dented fender... then a few weeks later some dickchin hit my driver side door and put a nice dent in it.

but yeah, what better place to go steal parts, swarm of ppl come leave their cars in the morning, and no one's around till mid-afternoon.

If you live in the city, you can't have nice things without worrying about the ******* trying to jack your ride.

I just read and ignore, but Im glad most of you are taking it normally,

It's like someone telling you to drive safe. The roads dont just get more dangerous that day your just as likely..its the reminder that makes a difference sometimes.

THIS IS WHAT THREW ME OFF.

You started off by saying you work for an insurance company and what not so i was expecting you to say that insurance doesn't cover breakins anymore or something. All in all you gave a heads up for everyone which is cool but at the same time it is really a no brainer.

it's all good, just my 2 cents on both sides of everyones reactions.
