Well I'm not to sure what i want to jump into next but i'd like to get some voices from people

Right now i'm looking in between purchasing two cars

Either a 1998 Acura EL Premium Leather fully loaded 5spd

Or a 1993 Honda Prelude SR

swapped in H22 Fully buily internals
Head and intake manifold port and polished
Cams done
Full Tein Suspension
Stainless Steel Braided Brake lines
Cross drilled rotors front and rear
Sway bars put in with polyeurathane bushings
Apexi controller fuel management done
full apexi world sport catback exhaust
high flow cat and ceramic header
Enkei Sport Wheels wrapped in Yoko ES100 tires
NEVER SEEN WINTER MINT MINT.. no scratches no dents no dings... the LCA dont even have rust on them.. 190K on the body
13k on the motor since rebuild

ummm i cant think right now what else is done

What would you take and how much would you pay?

personally i'd take the EL because it's 5 years younger than the prelude... and will last me longer...

but that prelude body was my fav, so it'd be a tough choice for sure....

Well maintainance is a big thing to look at my cousin had a prelude and the parts are a lot more cash compaired to an EL

insurance should be cheaper on the EL cuz its a four door

and the EL is a perfect chassis to through in a nice B18c5 Type R and keep it sleeper looking

just my opinion

well insurance wise its actually the same for me
I like them both

EL is nice leather and good to go... i dont htink i'd modify it.. much at least no motor mods..

The lude is gorgeous and done up so well and properly.. no hack job...

I know what the EL is worth

but whhat would you pay for the Prelude

the thing is i'm kind of scared to jump into another modified car

I got into a small accident with my EF

I was not at fault but the woman totally hcanged her story and i have no witnesses to prove other wise... my insurance comapny agreed on 50/50 and theres nothing ic an do to fight it without any evidence

But when they came to see the damages my car was cancelled because it was "heavily" modified

They didn't even know what motor it was but cancelled becuase i had a cold air intake and exhaust

From what i hear BelAir Direct covers modified cars if i say that i have an intake and exhaust the premium does not go up unless the modifications exceed $1500 which i wont claim so

But i dont know

i'd go with the lude. I've always wanted that gen.. and that list of mods sounds real good.

But I'd be scared about who built that motor and how much of a beating it took. People don't build their engines/susp/brakes to drive slow.

I would never buy a car with a swapped motor and "fully built" internals

EL is my choice...OR for the money that prelude is probably going to cost, maybe look for a newer untouched lude

i had a 93 lude as my first car.. after like a few months.. i couldnt stand the way the seats look, couldnt stand the digital **** on the dash.. cant stand that 1/2 circle tach and speedo, didnt like where the shifter was cause it was way to close to the deck and hated only puttin in cds when im in 2nd for 4th gear, that storage compartment in the back was retarded, my little cousin couldnt fit in the back seat, steering wheel was big and ugly or was mine a 92? **** cant remember but the seats and dash pissed me off the most haha, my vote goes for the EL

Agreed, unless you know the person who owns the car well and have an idea of the quality of the work....

I'd go EL...I've always liked the EL

Id say the EL. If you want speed then go for the prelude as people suggested.

El for pimpness.

I am with belairdirect and they do not beef modifications under 1500$, unless you have a swap, and do not charge extra for covering stereo/rims/intake.
Pretty sweet deal, if someone steals my intake then i get 200$
