i dont think that list is very accurate at all though. i read the one on msn news and the 99-00 integras were the most stolen vehicles in north america. i can't find that list anymore though.

I think the results would be more correct if they based it on a ratio rather than the total number of cars stolen. There are so many Civics out there it is much more accessible for thieves to steal one as oppose to a car that isn't on the roads as much.

Nice i figured mine wasn't there... by the way i dunno y but i though the ford f150 would have been on the top 10 canada somewhere.
PS: what did they mean by this section?...what is etching?
--->Come and see my etchings
Many new cars have the last several digits of the V.I.N. etched onto the windows to make it easier for police to identify it if its stolen and recovered. If your vehicle didn’t come with this feature, consider having it done.
You can have similar markings put on your stereo or other special equipment.

there is a tool that engraves anything into a surface, like metal etc, so u can permannently carve u name or number into it. Its used alot and helps, cause you cant just erase it once its etched

hmm i have an 01 civic and it seems to have the immobilizer, i mean i was told it wouldn't start with a copied key unless it was encoded at the dealership.
i just hope my car isn't flashy enough to steal. but the fact that old dodge caravans are on the list scares me!
