i'm using the RT615's rite now as well. 205/50/15. stiff sidewalls, noisy compared to my T1-S that i replaced.

treadwear is 200 so not too bad for a fairly sticky tire. in the rain, they're great rite now, but i hear they get scary when you're down to 50% tread. cheaper than T1-R tires too.

the T1-R's didn't get really good reviews in some magazine shoot-outs though.

keep in mind, that Toyo's 195/50/15 sizes do NOT have reinforced sidewalls. i found this out after auto-x'ing on my T1-S oneday...

I have a dumb question for everyone...

Why spend the money on a very high performance summer tire like those mentioned, on a Civic that in most cases doesn't have the performance to match the tires. Our cars are daily drivers for the most part and I'm sure some see the odd track day, but why such extreme tires?

I'm looking at all season Falken 512s for my Si, which is driven everyday. I want something quiet and comfortable. Not stiff and loud.
