thanks for da info import racer. anybody else got any experiences on winter rubber? i know its a lil bit early for winter stuff but i just wanna know. i was opting for the blizzaks coz a friend can get them 60% off list price per tire.whats another option besides blizzaks?

If you can get 60% off the list price, then go for it. How much are you willing to spend? If you'd like, I have a set of winters that's almost brand new. Less than 10,000 kms on them. They're the Dunlop Graspic HS-1's in 185/65/14. Check around for some prices. If you're interested, I can sell them to you for $425 with the steelies.

ur asking price is a lil too steep for me right now. ive already got steelies to put those blizzaks on if ever i purchase them. but if i dont get that ill get back to u, maybe u can cut me a deal.

Dude, where are you getting these blizzacks from and how much? i'm looking around, and i've found some Gislaved NordFrost ]['s (some norwiegien company) for like real good... i'll prolly end up getting them since it'll run me like $300 after all is said and done...

I had Blizzacks on my first car many years ago. I found them to be great in the snow and never had any problems. As for how much they go for now, I'm not really sure as I bought mine a long time ago and sold that car with them on.

I have found any snow tire is pretty much better than an all season because it is purely designed for the snow. I haven't heard any really negative news on the blizzaks.
