I've replyed to your email... I'd like to know where to find this "application" you stated in the return email.... please send some details thanks...

and personally I'd like to send it directly to the company with reference on it that you refered me ....personally I like the direct approach not a round about one.

It's amazing how some people would be willing to forward info about thier rides, to a company that they don't even know.....and to do it through a board member that most don't know either.

Just my 2C's.

well I got the website and looked it over.... the first few questions were all stuff that seemed normal sponsor stuff questions...

then I saw this:

If accepted or not, would you be interested in a scouting position with Racer X Motorsports? This would involve finding other clean or fast cars in your area, track, or local car shows, and occasionally booth work at events.
so I figured ok maybe they are just looking for more help.... from those they don't wish to put their name on the car....

so then I clicked next .. and was told pictures of the car would have to be sent to their email address.. ok I can get that .... fits in with all sponsorship requests ... see the car ... then it told me that at charge would be required to set up the account and asked for credit card or checking acccount info.. this smells like a scam now.... ohhhh we set up the account but we don't want to sponsor you sorry....

no sponsor has ever asked me for that info and i have looked at a lot of sponsors....

seriously the whole recruiting thing seems fishy to being with...

anyways here's the warning layed out for everyone.. I hate people that are not upfront with all the info ....and I hate companies that ask too much .. you want to sponsor me fine.. great I'll put your name on my car but it works this way I get cash or services your name goes on car. period thats the way it works .. I get money to do my thing you get advertisments and referrals and use of the car in promotions to do your thing....

also racer X motorsports only offered product .... which sucks because I'd have to sell it to get cash to buy the stuff I need

I strongly recommend staying away from this place..

www.racerxmotorsports.com is the website

also when you click enter here it takes you straight to the sign up thread. like they want to recruit more credit card numbers or something
