Unfortunately this is true. Wherever we go, they'll know where we are.

The officers themselves said that we could stay there and that there was nothing wrong with it. It's private property and they don't care about what we're really doing there as long as Tim Hortons doesn't complain and we don't go around racing.

Any place we go we are going to be hassled, and besides the fact that the police were watching over us - there were NO problems that evening. No one got ticketed, no one got hassled.

So I still don't see what's wrong. As I stated in my earlier post: If the police wanna babysit us, who are we to complain? It gives us free security and keeps our own members from doing dumb things like burnouts.

We keep saying that we go there just to socialize, so why do we start crying when the police start watching over us? All we're doing is socializing right? We've got nothing to be scared of..

I think we should stop being scared and just settle on a place (Kennedy Commons, Kennedy and 14th, Commerce Gate) and just go there. The police can't and won't do anything unless we do something to provoke them and last time I checked, standing around and talking usually doesn't **** off police officers.

We are not doing anything wrong, but they will start t opull people over for exhaust and their car being to low and any other excuse they can come up with if they don't want us there. And beleive me they don't want us there. The first cop basically said "nice cars, enjoy your night, don't come back." If we do continue to go back they will start pulling people over and that is a hassle we don't need.

I know someone mentioned this earlier, but have we ever considered talking to the Management of the Timmies? If they want us there, the police might be more leanient.

Aaron....Kennedy and Sheppard??? JD's is known for its shooting and stabbings....but let's have it there ...ok???

(as a side note:I am coming to realize that we are never going to be completely happy with any venue. )

If the cops know about every location we pick.... whether it be private or public.... they are going harass us. I agree with Shokker.... pick a place and stick with it. We are not causing grief to anyone and we are just shooting the ****. If we have people that will decide to do burnouts(and I haven't seen any TCC member do this yet), then they will pay the price.....get a ticket.

That said....York Region is a heat score...as Cantonagod said they don't want us there....best bet is somewhere in T.O. where the real cops have jobs to do.... like tracking down real criminals.

Finally......How does woodbine & 16th continue to work every Saturday night?....I am sure The Deeds speak folk must have told everyone to take a hike there too....but they still come back?
something to think about....

My point exactly! As long as we're on private property and not using that long strip behind the Timmies to race, then who cares?

The only thing that confuses me is that we had SOOOOO many people out last night, and we would never for our lives be able to get that much space at KC unless we got there at like 5 pm?

When's the last time we've had a turnout so large?

You make that sound so easy. We have hundreds of interested members located from Niagara Falls to Oshawa and everywhere in between.

You summed up everything i said in my first post on this thread...

You asked for trouble...and now you have it... Start thinking about the police and where they dont give a crap if we meet...LIKE KC! hmm how many times were we bothered..? umm 1 time and the cop left after 2 secs and didn't come back...what was the problem there another club was drinking...ok...its another club there are always going to be ***** that ruin it for others just ask them to move it to another area

Here's my 2 cents.

I'm gonna start off by giving everyone a ""
You know there's a speed bump up ahead but you still choose to floor it, and now that your car is all mashed up you're sad.

I'm gonna say it: WE ARE ASKING FOR TROUBLE. WE DESERVED TO BE HARRASSED LAST NIGHT BY YORK REGION. What do you expect them to do? They don't care if we're in the papers...they don't care who talks to them...they don't care if you have a stock engine. All they care about is that some idiots who have made a BAD REP for IMPORTS are street racing, speeding possibly causing death, etc and they need to stop them. Since they don't know who those specific individuals are...they will pull over ANYONE who has their car modified. It's called VEHICLE PROFILING.

Inorder to avoid cops/other car clubs/problems you MUST remove yourself from areas like:
- any coffee/donut shops
- anywhere in York
- anywhere near HWY7
- anywhere where there are tons of suped up cars

NO MORE RICE LOCATIONS. I know alot of you have nice rides and want to flaunt them to other non-TCC people, but is it worth the hassle and pain?!?!!? THIS ISN'T DARKNIGHTS...it's not an outdoor car show...so who cares who is sees or not sees your car?!?!!?

Let's be honest here folks. Does anyone notice a pattern?? If you review any of our previous meeting locations we are always surrounded by a sh*tload of imports. That's usually known as "A COP IS PROBABLY WATCHING YOU AS WE SPEAK" places.

We're always meeting in spots that are sooooo HEAT. The heat is not drawn by TCC but by other IMPORT DRIVERS.

So what's the solution you ask?
STOP IT!!!
Stop meeting in these places. And the problem will be solved.

The whole point of us meeting once a week is to just hang out, swap stuff, chit chat or just to have a coffee. The bond that holds us together is our Civic.

So why are we always meeting at these places with tons of kids who have too much money and decides to supe up their car to look cool and cause sh*t because he hates his parents?!!?

Why do we always have to meet around/near/within the vicinity of them?!?!?!?!

Here's sumthin' for all of you to think about.
Would we hold a meet at PINEVALLEY/HWY7? And why?
Answer honestly now!!

Now apply that same reasoning to pick a new spot for the meets.

We did have permisison to meet at KC but that didn't stop other clubs from showing up and taking up parking spots. We left because a) it was becoming too small, and b) we wanted a place that wasn't crowded by other clubs.

The new location at Kennedy and 14th isn't bad, the meet was great and the cops did keep their distance once they knew nothing was going on. But if they don't want us there, then fine, we won't meet there. We're not looking for trouble.

I've talked to Alan about the Vic Park and Eglinton area and there is also a quiet, and discrete Timmies location out in mississauga that i know of... we'll see. One things for sure we won't be back at Kennedy and 14th next week.

MAn oh man... All the problems you guys are having down in T Dot. We rarely see cops over here in London. Hell, for the longest time, we were meeting in a parking right downtown facing the downtown strip, and the parking was free! That's what a population of only 330,000 gives ya, freedom.

Well, good luck sorting it out.
