Really?...new cluster? or did it come like that?

imported_GoldBadge 11-Aug-2004 06:50 PM

Couldn't you just swap in a cluster with a tach from the same gen civic?

shlammed 11-Aug-2004 06:50 PM

Well, it's not that it really matters...it's just if something that big is gonna be in my car I'd want it to be pretty.

when switching, say a 5gen si cluster, into my cx(came wit no tach) is it hard to hook up the tach to work in my car?

imported_~ILLEST CIV~ 11-Aug-2004 09:21 PM

TranceaddicT 11-Aug-2004 09:30 PM

its pure plug and play and it takes about 3 mins to pop the old one out. You can even take you speedometer out (for km purposes) and swap it with the one that comes in the si cluster, dude its super easy. pm me if u need any more help

TranceaddicT 11-Aug-2004 11:08 PM

ok so if it so easy why not do it>>> now how much can i get a 5thgen si cluster, or even something that will plug and play) and where can i get one? cept classifides

shlammed 11-Aug-2004 11:21 PM

i got a 4th gen si cluster for $40 from a wrecker

imported_loudsubz 11-Aug-2004 11:24 PM

wreckers or the boards

best bet is wreckers as they will price a bit better

some people think there gold and charge way to much for them
