Quick_CX, give yourself a shake! The reason the car isn't running is simply because they are waiting for a fuel pump, an ECU and the clutch assembly. The school doesn't pay for any of this stuff. The teacher pays for some things and almost everything is donated by sponsors. Not every part arrives when you need it! I know about this project and the students did ALL the work under the teacher's guidance. Not only that, but they did it on their own time, after school. This project isn't just about "drivetrain" and making the car run. It's about EVERYTHING from working on the car, to dealing with suppliers, to taking it to a car show, etc etc etc. They may have "juggled" the order of doing things a bit but in the end it all works out! We should all be so lucky to have a teacher that takes this much interest in his students to put this kind of project together.

This engine was never sold in North American Civics or Integras, but apparently they are imported from Japan in large numbers."

Very cool. It would be nice if they could have told more of the story, but only so much space in the paper!
