You know...I more or less lurk around here, but whenever there is a post like this, I feel that I have to speak out. It's people like you that cause governments to adopt policies and laws making it illegal for car enthusiasts to modify their cars.

BTW...The new site is great...Big respect to the admins who make this media accessable to car enthusiasts.

-> i'm goign to refrain from flaming

anything can happen during a street race.

Street racing at night ... there are still other cars on the road at that time . during last summer I was subletting in Guelph and one night I was called in to work (it was a friday night) and well I hit the highway to take me to the 401 (it's exit 295 on the 401 I think it's called 6th highway north or something like that) anywas I was almost hit by the street racers that use that highway at night.... also the fact that at night (the house had no AC so the windows were open) you could hear their bloody engines revving as they pasted up and down that highway... cops if you read this I'd bet they'd be there next summer too just to let you know.

strange.... i thought it was the kids street racing at night that was doing that

oh well... if by not supporting street racing i'm responcible for making the governments to adopt policies and laws making it illegal for car enthusiasts to modify their cars then so be it

please note the sarcasim in that last sentence....perhaps if your post made any sence at all i would have offered a better responce......till then CLOSED

btw: take it to the track

Sorry, I guess I wasn't too clear now was I. I am assuming that by asking his question, civic2drcoupe was one of these "kids" that causes problems for the rest of us by racing at night. If this is the case, then it is people like him that causes government to introduce policy that as silly as it may seem, is designed to stop street racing.

Cosmic...I was not referring to the comment made by 94EG6HB, but rather, to the original topic of this thread. I believe I am in agreement with the majority of members and users on this board in believing that it is the younger (or otherwise irresponsible)generation that is ruining it for import (and domestic for that matter) car enthusiasts. I hope this clears up any misundertanding. If it doesn't, then flame away.
