If that were to ever happen, you'd take it to Dodge and they would fix it.

It's been a year since people have owned them... not such thing has happened.

Bang for the buck they are a great car.........if only honda would build a 2.4L turbo car...it would rape that thing and shut all the srt owners who think they are cool as **** cause they bought a fast car from the factory........imagine would a turbo h22 at 16psi would be putting out........over 400 hp

I would rather take the bus than to drive a neon. As you can tell I would never buy one for many of the reasons which have been answered in this thread plus ther ugly gay cars. That's just my opinion and I agree may Hondas are over rated in the trader but why do you think they are? b/c people will pay for it.

But I must say a low 14 or high 13 is quite an impressive time for a stock vehicle but unfortunatly the car has too many problems down the road and it's just not worth the hassle. Plus I don't think I believe it either, ya people ran it and they say they hit high 13's, let's see a ******* time slip just like a guy I ran into last week who ran 14.1 in a stock zc hatch

Nuff said, for 30K their are many beautiful cars out there like a type r, gsr, sir, new si, used turbo eclipse, etc etc. A neon is the last one on my list

How would you know if the SRT-4 will have problems down the road?
Did you help create it?

You don't know, you're just assuming.

I don't know if it will either, but it's been a year and it's problem free so far.

well they both have a 2.4L inline 4... do you think dodge/chrysler would make two motors of similar proportions in two different cars... they may have slight differences but 95% is the same most likely

We are assuming on the basis of NEON history. This car has always been pretty much a lemon and until Dodge proves it's not anymore I don't see why anyone should believe otherwise. Maybe in 5-7 years we will say you know what, the 2004 neons were pretty good.

The SRT-4 isn't a Neon. It's like a 80% different car.

Uh oh, sounds like someone is getting mad.

Return my dad's credit card? I didn't even know you can buy a car with a credit card these days. Damn.

If you'd like to know, I pay the car payments, gas and mods myself.

Hard to believe, I know. However, a good job is what allowed me to buy the car.

Just because you can't continue an argument you're losing, doesn't mean you have to start throwing out insult.

You keep saying that the SRT-4 sucks and will break down, however you don't know any of this. Stop pulling out assumptions and give the car the respect it deserves. 2 or 3 years down the road, if it does fail, then you can say it's a piece of crap. Until then, you "stfu"

hahahaha you think I get pissed off from people on the internet lmao, they just make me laugh and if this argument came up in real life it would go threw one ear and out the other, if it's gotta do with something honda related then im well focused.

Im not here to battle this **** off, im not 18 like you, I just said what I had to say and that's it, your the one that quoted it.

BTW a neon will always be a neon like I said in the previous thread, the cars are horrible even the newer ones so what makes you think this one is reliable. Any brand new car can be good for a year or 2, **** even kia's but you gotta think down the road if you want headaches or not, I know I don't so i'll go for a reliable honda/acura which has a great backround on them instead of an ugly *** dodge neon which i'll lose 80% of the value of the car after a year of driving it.
