Yo check it out! Damn, it looks pretty sweet in my opinion. Heard they are bringing it to North America too. Damn, i really hope it's the full 280hp+ version!

It'll be in North America for sure. Those pics are from a show in Las Vegas as a sneak preview for dealerships. Reports say it'll at least be 250hp but it will probably be de-tuned compared to the ones in Japan.
Oh well, still better than nothing! And damn, look at that sweet intercooler. That thing has got to be pushing some decent power!

I know we got a watered down version, but I asked about the WRX STi and the possibilities of it showing up on Canadian Soil.
I actually got to speak with the Director of Product Planning. (business skills paying off
) He said, that it is more than likely, but something more around 2004. The the success of the WRX in North America has single handedly turned around the image and sales of Subaru.The reason for the delay until 2004 is because, if they released the WRX STi a year later, it would **** a lot of WRX owners off.
But nothing is official until a press release comes out.
About the EVO VIII, I've heard that because of the success of the WRX on North American soil that there are plans to have the EVO VIII in North America as well. With Mitsubishi dealerships opening in Canada in less than 30 days, we may see it sooner than later...
Again, nothing is offical until a press release comes out.
