The reason I posted the thread is a majority of you "club" members seem to have a Holier then thou attitude about TCC and other clubs

Right there in plan view on CTV was a 4th gen 4 door with a spoiler street racing on file but members that are posting in this thread will never admit to a member doing anything wrong

I don't nor will ever show respect to a club that has members Drink and smoke up at there meets and not one person asked for there keys or asked (Told )them not to drive.

How many countless lives have been lost because no one said "Hand over the keys"

Thats one of the reasons i snaped on the club a while back


This thread was to show people that TCC is not perfect and there "No street racing" policy needs to be re-enforced at the next meet or start striping badges

I must be new to this "******* bash cluster thread" but as an outsider to whatever you and the rest of this board have going on i must say that you make it quite easy to "bash cluster" The only one i see here with a 'holier than thou' attitude around here is you, and as for that much who are you to tell everyone how bad they are? I haven't seen the footage yet either but even if it was a TCC member who made the club look bad or whatever I know that even tho I am a paid member it's not up to me as to what's done about him. If asked i'd be glad to give my two cents, and as for spending 1/2 an hr cutting up Bond's post, his post was the most courteous one on this board, and you don't even have the decency to reply courteously. You obviously have problems with this club that run deeper than this 'incident' but that doesn't give you the right to snap on the club. If you really were so much into your cause, whatever it might be you'd be going around to all the parking lots and all the Timmies around here pleading your case. All in all you brought it upon yourself, and in life you'll notice if you're rude to people they're be rude to you back, no matter what the discussion is. Don't ask us to take you seriously and continuously be polite if you can't do the same yourself.

well, i'm a bit of a newb too..
to date all i've seen so far is naught but good..
tho should i see anything that looks to be detrimental to what i believe are the clubs "code" i'll make my opinion known and see what can be done about it..including what you mention in the next paragraph..
i wasn't there, so i can't comment on it..i don't know the circumstances..i do know that had i been around at the time chancvs are good i'd have stepped up to the plate..
or if i'd known it was to be present, not shown up..

i have tho, since i've begun browsing the forum, seen a lot of "NO BS" posts..if what you said actually occured, then this appears to me to be a step towards clearing this problem up..people are saying that we don't want that kinda shyt at our meets..

I'm a regular spectator at the street races (I don't race though, my car is too slow and gas is really pricey nowadays) I see tons of Civics there...I've NEVER seen a Civic with TCC stickers or even a TCC member in it race before.

Just because a Civic was caught street racing on tape doesn't mean they're part of TCC. It is actually ignorant to group all Civics together. I (and I know alot of you out there too) see tons of Civics driving around who aren't TCC. I've been trying to get them to join TCC or at least come to a meet

I'm not trying to say you're wrong (I'm saying, you might have mistaken the car to be a TCC member's - honest mistake, it is afterall a Civic, but I too have seen the CTV special, and yes, there was a Civic racing, but there was no indication what so ever that they were affiliated with TCC.

Next time I see a chinese man on TV, I'll call him dad. I mean they're all the same right?

You might come up with a snappy answer to rebuttal me or even try to insult me for being objective and impartial here. That's fine, however you decide to respond is cool. Ultimatley, your reply will prove how mature you are.

No one is trying to attack you here, there's just not enough facts for you to make such a bold statement that TCC are hypocrits (sp) when it comes to street racing. If you had the hard facts to prove it, people wouldn't respond the way that they have.

As for the GIRL they interviewed part - Scotty, you gotta becareful of what you say - it is a small world afterall , b/c I can guarantee that the girl they interviewed was misrepresented by a bad editing job at CTV. Don't forget, what you see on the news is not always the truth, but simply a "cut & paste" version of the truth. They control what we should see, what is TOO much for us, what is RIGHT.

Cops/Gov't are trying to get rid of street racers, what makes you think that CTV a totally politically influenced TV station who supports the PC party would make the import scene look good. They didn't make the rave scene look too good, no matter what they were trying to do to make a positive change. How about the internet article they did to scare all parents from refraining their kids from going on the net b/c of some incidents involving pedophiles.
