nice car.
Make sure to get the subframe bushing replaced or the whole subframe if your VIN calls for it.
Be prepared for some expensive brake job bills if you take it to nissan. I worked there for a while and their parts are insane. Combined with $85+/hr labour rate i've seen people spend well over $600-900 on a brake job.
IMO the SE-R's are SICK. I like the interior and exterior styling perks of the SE-R, not to mention how much they haul a$$!!!

Thanks for the heads up Z! I will probably take it to my favorite garage anyways!

Talk to the dealer, looks like we can pick up the car tomorrow........

^^ totally agree with zeeman....and i would have been happy with $85 per hour but i paid $99 per hour at oakville infiniti nissan.

brian..since you are approaching the 48K service, which is a big one and covers a lot of stuff, you gotta read this thread.

Thanks Sal! You guys are great.

The car has been serviced already and got spanking brand new tires on top of that.

hahaha, this is becoming mini nissan club, im like the 3rd or 4th guy posting right now with a nissan too.

if it has triptonic, it will stay toe to toe with a stock 350z. if it was manual waahhh, bolt ons and 300hp 13.9 1/4.lol with minor mods it stays with 2003 + M3's.

good choice on the SER worlds appart from se, you should hear how the ser altima you got sounds.hehe

Haha, she isn't a big fan of Honda, many years ago she had a bad experience with a dealership in Ottawa. Her first brand new car she wanted to buy was the Prelude back in 90, went to the dealership and ask what does it come with, the guys response was wheels and an engine. She walked out.

This was a no brainer Ed, we just happened to be at the right place at the right time. I honestly just went there so she could test drive an SE and see if she even liked the Altima. Who would have thunk.

Her and the kids are now out in it, as we picked it up tonight, don't think I will be seeing them anytime soon.

lol... it's all good B ... the SE-R is a beast of a car... it's too bad crappy *** sales guys like that would ruin someone's image of a specific brand .... maybe down the road you guys will consider another Honda

You never know, for now, I won't be getting rid of my car anytime soon, and this car is probably going to last for a long time. I know she wants an SUV if she were to buy another car and if that is the case down the line, then I would just take over the SE-R

Pics tomorrow!

Good stuff Brian. Congrat on the new purchase. I had my eyes on the new MDX, white dealership demo with walnut interior, looks so nice.

Only wishful thinking...
