SiRuX is back with a question!

Hey guys, its been awhile.. Hope you didn't miss me=)

Well when I got my stereo and gps robbed a few months ago I've noticed that the robber went into my trunk and left is slightly opened. (I don't keep jack **** in the front of my car anymore

If I install a amp and sub theres an option next to the driver seat to lock the trunk lever to open it. and the back seats only go down with the master key.

How full proof is that?
Should I just cut the wire so I can't open up the trunk at all from the front?

I don't want any ******* in my trunk what so ever... Even tho I have a alarm I want em to have a hard time.

No matter what you do, if they want it, they are going to get it. Locking it will make it a little bit harder for them, but not much, as to cutting it, that would be stupid to do.

Keep everything locked up. Also instead of cutting the cable you can unhook it from the lever and just push it in into the carpet.

And welcome back.

I dont suggest cutting it, I've got a 00 civic and quite honestly if it werent for my front release I couldnt get into my trunk, for whatever reason the stupid keyhole has seize up and wont let me put the key in all the way so whatever. and like stated before, if they want it, there taking it. my brother had an integra, entire interior was straight from japan. not to mention motor swap and exterior upgrades. some douches took it right outta the drive way, alarm set (2 way) feul pump cut off switch enabled.. trust me... they want it and its theirs.

or cuz ur just a mean bitch :P

either way if someone wants ur **** theyll take it you can either never fall asleep to constantly be ready to hear the alarm or you can hide all your ****

(wire your amp maybe underneath your seat and cut holes in your carpet for your connection but this is pretty risky still cuz you run the risk of messing up your amp and play your subs when you either away from your area or on the highway

True words.

I've heard that the best deterrent is to make things as difficult as possible, the more work the less likely something is to get stolen. But, as noted by so many, if a thief wants something, they'll find a way to get it. Some good suggestions mentioned above, without having to go to drastic measures.

Sharona, this is sirux we are dealing with here. No matter what you tell him, he will still be cutting the wire to the trunk release.

Sirux, after you cut the wire, I say you also fill your trunk with mouse traps, so if the thief tries to jack your stuff, they will get snapped at by the traps. It's foolproof!
