I've always been into cars and always to go to the SEMA show.

I'll have a chance this year because I'll be in Vegas for the 1st week in November but I was looking at their website and was wondering if just anyone from the public can purchase a ticket and go in?

After reading the section for "Attendee" it sounds like only people that work in the Automotive industry can register.
If this is the case can anyone suggest any ideas how I can get in? Perhaps ask some people that I know that is already in the industry to say that I work for them?

Can someone shed more light on this matter? I know there must be some people in this forum that has gone in the past.

yea, u have to be in the automotive industry to get into the SEMA show. and u can't jus say u work for that company. the company has to issue u passes to get into the whole week event. thats what i had to do at my work place(keystone) in order to get in. i tried last year but they wouldn't let me in. they told me that the public can not enter the event. so this year i got passes....if u know ppl in the industry u can ask them to register there business to the show and then get them to issue passes for the show in Vegas.....but thats the only way i know of to get into the SEMA show.....i have also heard that in the past they did let sum of the public in but like on the last day of the show though.....
