who goes back to what they were doing after your car gets stolen if mine got stolen i'd be driving around looking for the sorry ***** that stole it hoping i didnt find him casue if i did theres no telling what would happin
b.c has insuracen scams all the time cause the only insurance company out there is icbc run by the government
insuracne is cheep out there no matter what u drive becasue thye dont care about your age only the car u drive
thats one reason they have such problems with street racing out there this is a job for sure

This thread is WAY too funny...
A lot of disbelief and aggression found here, however here is my opinion.
I don't believe its a scam, because if it wasl, why didn't he just take all the other parts off as well since as he claims there is a hot market for SIR parts (i mean any of you guys would love to drop a B16a motor in anytime).. So he can get the insurance money and the profit he makes for sellin his own parts!!
Why just the rims? and why did he not damage the car beyond belief so they can write it off..
TO be honest, I think this is legitimate, or he is just plain stupid to go through all the trouble to just get reimbursed for those minor items that got jacked.. What kind of subs and amps do you think he had with a factory pos honda cd?? LOL
But in any event, try not to accuse, because in the MAXIMA World, us 2k2 owners are getting our headlights jacked left center and right because they are HIDS!!
I would go insane if they jacked my maxima!!

I think it was a scam, designed so he could get new rims and tires and a new stereo system.
I believe he wanted to keep his car but wanted new rims and stereo equipment without having to fork out the extra cash

INteresting thought, but that is really pathetic if he did that.. because if you want to go through all that fraud and illegal activities, you might as well go out!!
If you get caught doing what he did, or as i suggest going all out, i believe your jail time is the same
