regulator chips?
does anyone know if civics have speed regulators?
i was under the impression they had one OEM at 160... and I guess I was wrong.. anyone know if there is one?
I know preludes got one at 220..

JDM engine are at 180
i think cdn are at 200 or somehting i duno

200... i got 200 in my old EF.... but for the highest i've got in my EG right now is 180......

our mazda 626 topped out at 160km.
that was casual. then i got a ticket and was never again allowed to drive my mom's car again.

i topped my 95 dx out at 190 this weekend as soon as i hit it i felt a kick back and loss of power i thought i blew my motor lol

I though that the civic was limited by the gearing to a top speed rather then a chip??? IMO my EF is like that.

si ef can hit 200 easy and maybe more, i tried my LS on the back form the honda tech meet and i got 205, might have gone more but traffic wuz coming.
I dont think the computer has anything to do with it, its a matter of how much the motor and tranny can go
