haha....you guys must think that i ment that it was way too much, i was just replying to "TR" asking if it was that much

imported_alwaysoverkill 17-Aug-2005 01:29 PM

i personally think for $8G's, i'd go with a 92-95 hatch, put in a B18C, good suspension....and then with whats left touch up the body with lips...or work on paint if needed (depending how much was spent on the car in the first place)

and you'll have a fast hatch that handles good and feels/looks awesome...but will be cheaper on insurance cause its a 92-95 and also should give you respectable gas milage provided you don't live in VTEC territory.

i wish i had gone this route, rather then dumping money into my EL which still has a weak ass engine :(

92-96 prelude is also nice and gets respectable gas milage
92-95 civic
96-00 civic
97-00 acura 1.6EL

derAMG 17-Aug-2005 04:45 PM

I think i'll go for an stock EK with 5 speed...

Those 92-96 Civic and Prelude are mostly beaten into rough condition.

Younes Si 17-Aug-2005 04:49 PM

mostly? not really man
you just think that because of the rust on the rear quarter panels, but that can be fixed no problem also not like i'm gonna lose any sleep if your going to get an ek those are sexy cars

derAMG 17-Aug-2005 05:29 PM

hehe i TOLD YOU bro, i ain't you guys, i got no background in cars stuff. If a car within this price range gives me no headach and reasonable driving fun, im' satisfy

Double_B 17-Aug-2005 05:47 PM

I still think a Miata would be a great car.

I agree, its a purpose built sports car that still doubles as a daily driver and gets excellent gas mileage. Fits the price category to. I drove my friends Miata and now I wish I had it! He just installed a turbo kit to so now he's faster then me to :(
