Come out a meet sometime...you can see the difference between the H&R sports (1.8" front 1.6" rear) vs. H&R race (2.5" front 2.25" rear).

It really depends what you look you want. Keep in mind that you will have to buy shocks to replace your stock shocks.

For springs: H&R
For coils: Skunk2, Ground Contro, or Tein.

No substitutes.

H&R Race springs have a very nice ride to them... I had a set a couple years back, and kinda regret getting rid of them!

Then again I drive my car in the winter...so coilovers was a must :\...

I know I've asked this b4 but
is the quality of the ride the same between H&R full coilover system and coil sleeves and koni yellows. And what's the price difference like.
Do you have to lubricate the full system or just the sleeves?

If your planning on dropping more than 2 inches, add a camber kit on your list too.

if you get coilovers
get quality ones

dont go for cheap ones... i have max speed ones (came with car)..
i hate them, putting stock shocks back in shortly, and replaced by lowering springs & gas shocks eventually

i actually used the factory shocks from a 2000 SIR, my friend's. and it's still good till now...i've got my car for almost two years now....

i have eibach right now, but i usred to have h&r's. i switched to eibach becaue the front is not as low, because i got the buddy club kit, so i need thefront to be "higher"....

yeha....but because coilover is easier to rust etc...i dunno how to say it in english (sorry...me fob..) and at last you cant relaly adjust the height anymore...well, after a while of course...

so i juts went with normal lowering springs...

im changing over from coilovers to springs ( hr race )

dont try and cut corners when lowering your ride, suspension is something you dont wanna be cheap with....

if you're going to go coilovers...... the cheapest coilovers i would go with would be skunk 2

H&R Sports drop 1.8- 2" right depending on car model so how do you know how much it will lower the car?
Do you have to lubricate the H&r coilovers? every week?

Coil over sleeves bro,
so you can slam it during summer
time and adjust it back up during
winter time . I prefer single perch
type just cause its easier to work on.

GOOD LUCK
