EKer... it's hard to say... total for everything I'd like to do is $10K for full drivetrain mods. that's what I'd LIKE to do... what I end up doing will be ???

This includes fully built block, head, new ex manifold, Y8 tranny, clutch, mounts, axles, Quaife, igniton, RC550, Fluidyne rad, etc... it's hard to wrap your head around exactly how much this stuff costs, but ...
i'm lookinf for sometrhign used! cuz new WB O2's are CHEAP...

I'm gunna try the energy susp inserts first, see how that goes for me. I wanna minimize engine flex so the engine doesn't rip the I/C piping from the intercooler when it flexes. Cuz the I/C is solid mounted to the rad/bumper support.

B, I can vouch for the ES motor mount inserts. There is hardly any flex under load, between shifts etc etc. The only downfall is the vibration. If there was even the slightest possibility of a squeak or rattle in the interior, you WILL find it now.

Engine mount is da ****. As for inserts, I had thought about it but with window welds and insert, it is still pieced together, not a solid one piece urethane. I am going to invest in "race" mounts, durometer 70A. I think "extreme race" is definitely an overkill for a daily driving car that sees track only on summers.

Bruno, lol I was looking at those hood dampeners. I guess hook-free hood is cool.

Charles, yeah totally wicked... I'm gonna go and install my hood dampeners soon. Won't be JDM... but I dun care... really. If only I wasn't so lazy my car would be t3h s1ck. I'm always up on **** way ahead of the game. Like before altezza lights came out, I wanted to cut round trailer lights into my tails, and then paint the rest of it body color - kinda like a skyline style. Thank GOD i never got around to doing it cuz like a year after (around 1999-2000) altezza lights came out and I saw how nasty it was. Then I was gonna cut lights into the exterior of my mirrors, next thing I see, that design is came out on the new benzes, and then APC started making the same isht. Then in 2000 I saw my dad's Golf with the hood dampener, and I went out and bought parts to make my own. Now I see 2 diff't co's have them for Civics. These ppl read my mind y0! haha

The Hub was Tekniq and it was AMAZING. Didn't move @ All.
One of my fav things that was on the car and EVERYONE LOVED IT. HAHHA

Get in the car put on my wheel, put on my harness, start the car with hidden and ignited switches in special sequence, turn on the deck (Screen comes out) and AWAY we go.

It took me like 5 min to get ready everytime i got in the car but it was the most amazing feeling. I felt like a pilot getting ready to takeoff. (Ya Im a nerd but I loved it)

Talking about it makes me wanna build my car again HAHAHHAHA

LATES RICH
