Oh Yeeeah!

They just have them sitting on shelves with bows wrapped around them ready for you to pick up.

AND if you go to the right wrecker he might let you have it for free! Maybe they'll even do a swap for you.

Hell! They'll even throw in the Brooklyn Bridge!

the police auctions are a good thing...sometimes you can really find good ****. as some of you know i volunteer with the police, and there is all kinds of stuff. computers, bikes, cars, motorcycles, etc. if it isn't recovered it's sold to the highest bidder.

my partner on one of my shifts, who has connections with the stolen/recovered auto's, picked up a 1992 Benz for like $15,000, and it came with AMG wheels.

maybe i should look into get a list of their inventory....i could use a b18c5, but chances are the stolen cars that we'd be interested in, wouldn't have the engine in them anymore...that'd be the first thing stolen.

A friend of mine went to one of these Cop Auctions....ended up getting a Lexus ES300 (pearl white with 5000 km on it) for just under $10000. If that isn't a deal, I don't know what is.

you should be able to find a good deal... finding a specific car is harder though... my ex picked up a 97 protege in '99 with 30000km at a repo auction for around 6000$ she went in there looking for a civic sedan.
