To People who Got KYBAGX GB...how are they?

For those of you who got those KYB AGX's in that GB...I was just wondering how they are...worth the money? $600 was it?...I sooo wanted to get them (mainly cause they're at least $400 less than the yellows) but I didnt have the cash

I've had my AGX's for 8 months. I love them. Never had a moments trouble at all.

IMO, they're good for the money, but I'd rather have Tokico Illumina's or Koni Yellow's. Also, don't use them if you are dropping the car more than 1.5".

Not to contradicy Kevin, who really knows his stuff, but I thought you were safe below 2"s...

2 or above voids the warranty, or something to that effect...

Above 1.5" voids the warranty (i have the warranty sheet in front of me ). However the life the shocks will depend mostly on how you drive.. drive like a maniac and it won't matter if your'e lowered or not, the shocks just won't last... i know guys lowered 2.5" with the AGX's and they run fine, cuz they don't drive like idiots.

Yep, this is very true. It's not to say that they will surely fail, but there's a higher chance. Heck, if the roads are terrible in your area, there's no reason why you couldn't blow Koni Yellow's either.

IMO, if you can afford the Illumina's or Yellow's, get those. If not, the AGX is fine. If you don't need adjustables, go with the Koni Red's.

Thx for the replies guys...I may stilll get a set in the spring...if I cant afford the yellows...anyways....

This talk about the shocks not lasting long if you drop your car very low...doesnt that hold true for all shocks? not just the agx right?
