Which one

i would have to go with Si first because for the bucks, you're getting lots of the sports stuff... lsd, 6speed, nice brakes too and sweet handling
then next in line... gotta go with the SRT-4, they are simply damn fast!
maybe i would go with the eclipse if its the v6, if not,,, celica would be 3rd for its realiability only

which part of my entire statement did i say in 1 year they magically fixed everything? and which part did i say i am talking about the cobalt ss specifically???
before you go and make more comments to which your going to feel stupid for again listen to your voice that is saying "arguing with rukus is pointless cuz he will find ways to make you feel dumb"
to clarify things for you i said quality control is IMPROVING. American cars not being reliable is becoming a thing of the past because they are getting raped by the japanese import sales and quality. Also they are bringing back cars and are actually designing cars specifically for the tuner market and are actually producing good looking cars.
Sure the neon is fugly but the srt-4 looks hot and who would've thought a kit would improve that cars looks. And notice that it doesnt say NEON on any part of the car because they dont want to consider it a neon sure its based off it that doesnt mean it is the same damn thing. There are tons of improvements on the srt4 that a neon would never get. Its like saying a dx and an Sir are the same.

no 2006 celica
they only have 2005 models
celica is surprisingly quick, but little aftermarket support.
If you want to modify your car in the future, go with the Civic hands down, very scalable car.
If you want to compare stock for stock,
the order I would personally choose is:
2006 Civic Si (awesome powerband, awesome looks - the coupe - and reliability is no question)
2005 Celica (great car, I own a 2000 :P I love it, but sometimes, like anything can get on your nerves...however its reliably sound and it's a unique car, ratio of celica vs civic owners is quite small)
2006 Eclipse (will kill gas compared to above cars - but has more power - in my experience mitsu's also break down alot )

RSX Type S or the Civic Si. Great performance, handling and looks with both. Nice interiors and lots of features and options not even available in some of the others.
The SRT may be fast with lots of potential, but its still a Neon and ugly as sin IMO.
I drove an SS before I bought my Civic and it was pretty quick and handled decent, but the interior was crap and they look too plain.
The Celica is pretty nice, but underpowered compared to the rest and I find them very small inside.
The Eclipse is very $$$ and I think they look weird.

i'd go with the cobalt ss without a doubt...maybe change to spoiler so i could see out the rearview....but i'd still go with one.
always been a gm guy myself. i've never had any problems with reliability in domestics. yes, yes i may only be on my second car...but i'm also talking about past experiences with friends and such also. flame me if you want, but i would choose any gm product over my civic......

SRT-4 isn't that bad, well I don't know much about Domestic but the car doesn't look that bad.
People need to spare the "reliability" talk and go easy on it. Given enough time, every car will give you problem.

if the celica is the Tsunami edition i would definitaly take the toyota (its a rare model)
but since i love the new SI's
i'd take the SI first
"...neons will always be neons...and so will S-X two-point-oh's..."

You have to ask yourself what do you want in a car. Our opinions are our own and will be different then your's.
Domestic or import?
Coupe, sedan or hatch?
Luxury, performance or both?
Do you have a price range?
Do long term reliability and resale matter?
